Meet Dr. Movius

Edward Gale Movius, MD, FACP, FACE, graduated from Pomona College majoring in Mathematics. After serving four years in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman, he attended the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and a member of The Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association. He treated endocrine and diabetes patients in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. for forty years. He is also a licensed DC tour guide and past treasurer of the American Goethe Society. He enjoys backpacking, sailing, and ballroom dancing.
